Graduation recital
De una callada manera
The recital with which Rodrigo García-Bernalt completed his jazz degree at ESMUC: a programme of boleros and Latin American songs in duo with vibraphonist Andreu Bayarri, including three of his own compositions.
The duo was joined by singer María Pascual and a string quartet, for which he wrote the arrangements of several pieces. The title comes from “Canción”, a poem by Nicolás Guillén that Pablo Milanés set to music as “De qué callada manera”.
